Biography

Lauren Ng is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Boston University's Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine specializing in psychiatry. Her clinical work involves providing evidence-based cognitive-behavioral therapies to diverse, primarily low-income clients, including refugees and asylum seekers at the Boston Center for Refugee Health and Human Rights. She completed her PhD at the University of Southern California and has undertaken NIMH-funded postdoctoral research fellowships focused on global mental health at renowned institutions, including Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Ng is committed to advancing mental health care and reducing treatment disparities in her communities through research and clinical practice.
