Lauren Sukin is the John G. Winant Associate Professor of Foreign Policy at the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Oxford and a Professorial Fellow at Nuffield College, Oxford. Her research focuses on contemporary international security challenges, particularly the role of technology, including nuclear weapons, in international alliances. She examines military strategy, deterrence, reassurance, crisis politics, cybersecurity, and security challenges in Europe and Asia. Sukin holds a PhD and MA from the Department of Political Science at Stanford University and BA degrees in political science and literary arts from Brown University.
