Lauren Taylor is a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Western Australia. She is a clinical psychologist with co-authored approximately 20 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters focused on autism spectrum disorder and related neurodevelopmental conditions. After completing her postgraduate training in psychology at UWA, she pursued a postdoctoral research position at King's College London, contributing to the world's largest multisite randomised controlled trial for children with autism. Lauren is involved in teaching, coordinating, and instructing the Graduate Certificate in Autism Diagnosis at the University of Western Australia, the world's first postgraduate training program focused solely on Autism Diagnosis. Her current projects include supervising PhD students working on improving screening and identification processes for autistic individuals diagnosed in childhood, emphasizing the measurement of autistic features and associated experiences, particularly anxiety.
