Biography

Laurice Yang is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurologist at Stanford Health Care and serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology and Neurological Sciences. She is the Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs, and a member of the Division of Movement Disorders. Dr. Yang specializes in diagnosing movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease and atypical parkinsonian disorders. She is passionate about quality improvement in medical education and currently acts as the medical director of Improvement Training Programs in her department. Dr. Yang's involvement with the American Academy of Neurology includes lectures on quality improvement leadership and contributions to national guidelines for neurology care as part of the AAN Quality Measures Subcommittee. She completed her neurology residency at the University of Southern California and pursued specialized training in movement disorders as a fellow at UCLA. Additionally, she holds a master’s degree in health care administration from the University of Southern California. Dr. Yang is an active member of several professional organizations, including the AAN and the Movement Disorder Society.
