Biography

Laurie Weinstein is an anthropologist with a focus on Indigenous New England history, colonialism, and archaeology. She enjoys teaching and working with college students across various fields of anthropology including archaeology, socio/cultural anthropology, and physical/biological anthropology. Her research emphasizes understanding human culture through the history of specific evolutionary adaptations of Homo sapiens, specifically studying the Indigenous peoples of North America, particularly in New England and the American Southwest.
