Biography

Laurine M. Bow, Ph.D., HCLD (ABB) is a board-certified specialist in Diagnostic Immunology who earned her Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics and Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut. Currently, she serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at Yale School of Medicine, with a specific focus on the Transplant Division, and holds a secondary appointment in the Department of Lab Medicine. Dr. Bow is also the Director of the Histocompatibility and Immune Evaluation Laboratory, where she supports solid organ transplantation efforts at Yale. Her research interests encompass the clinical relevance of HLA antibodies in organ transplantation, transplant immunology, and vascular biology. In addition, she is dedicated to developing new diagnostic tools for monitoring allograft rejection, specifically through the analysis of donor-derived cell-free DNA and non-HLA antibodies in transplantation.
