Biography

Laurine M. Bow, Ph.D., HCLD (ABB), is a board-certified expert in Diagnostic Immunology. She earned her Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics and Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT. Currently, she serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery, specializing in the Transplant Division, and holds a secondary appointment in Lab Medicine. Dr. Bow is the Director of the Histocompatibility Immune Evaluation laboratory at Yale University, where she supports efforts in solid organ transplantation. Her research interests revolve around the clinical implications of HLA antibodies in organ transplantation, transplant immunology, and vascular biology. She also focuses on developing new diagnostic tools for monitoring allograft rejection through donor-derived cell-free DNA and non-HLA antibodies in transplantation.
