Dr. Lawrence Recht

Biography

Lawrence Recht, MD, is a professor in the Department of Neurology and the Department of Neurosurgery at Stanford University. He focuses on neuro-oncology and the clinical management of patients with brain tumors. Dr. Recht has extensive experience in conducting clinical trials and has been involved in evaluating various therapies for gliomas. His research interests include understanding the mechanisms of glioma development and exploring new approaches to treatment, including targeted therapies and imaging techniques. He completed his medical education at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons and his residency at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. Dr. Recht is board certified in psychiatry and neurology, and he has contributed significantly to the field through his clinical practice and scholarly work.
