Lawrence Warner is a Professor of Medieval English at King's College London. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Yale in 1991 and completed his PhD at the University of Pennsylvania in 1997. Warner moved to Australia in 2000, where he served as the Executive Director of the Australian Academy of the Humanities and held lectureships at the University of Adelaide and the University of Sydney, becoming a Senior Lecturer in Middle English. Since joining King's College London in January 2013, Warner has focused on research in Middle English literature, manuscript studies, and has supervised many PhD students. His significant contributions to the field include the monograph "Chaucer's Scribes: Medieval Textual Production, 1384-1432," published in 2018.
