Dr. Lawrence Weiss

Biography

Lawrence Weiss is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He has a successful academic career having served on the faculties of institutions including McGill University, Tulane University, Harvard University, INSEAD, IMD, London Business School, Georgetown University, and Tufts University. Weiss holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma in Public Accounting from McGill University as well as an MBA and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Harvard University. He began his professional career as a Chartered Accountant in Canada, equivalent to a CPA in the United States, working with KPMG. His teaching and research combine a deep understanding of finance, economics, and management science, preparing students to tackle complex business challenges with advanced analytical skills.
