Dr. Leah Zullig

Biography

Leah L. Zullig, PhD, MPH, is a health services researcher and implementation scientist. She serves as a Professor in the Department of Population Health Sciences at Duke University and is also an investigator at the Center of Innovation to Accelerate Discovery and Practice Transformation within the Durham Veterans Affairs Health Care System. Dr. Zullig leads the INTERACT Implementation Science Research Collaborative and co-leads the cancer prevention control program at the Duke Cancer Institute. Her overarching research interests focus on improving the quality of cancer care delivery, promoting cancer survivorship, and enhancing chronic disease management and medication adherence. She applies implementation science methods to ensure equitable care and to implement evidence-based practices across diverse healthcare settings. With over 200 peer-reviewed publications, Dr. Zullig has made significant contributions to the fields of Implementation Science, Health Measurement, Health Policy, Health Behavior, Telehealth, and Health Services Research. She has completed a BS in Health Promotion, an MPH in Public Health Administration, and a PhD in Health Policy from prestigious institutions including the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
