Biography

Leandro Minuchin is a Senior Lecturer at the Manchester School of Architecture, focusing on Global Urbanism. He was born in Rosario, Argentina. He earned his Licenciatura in Political Science from the National University of Rosario in 2002, graduating first in his class. He obtained a Master's degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Salamanca in 2005, where he distinguished himself by focusing on urban politics and the production of urban infrastructure in neoliberal Buenos Aires. Additionally, he completed an MSc in Modernity, Space, and Place at University College London (UCL) in 2005, concentrating on urban political ecology and the emergence of urban discourse in Buenos Aires. Minuchin completed his PhD in 2010, funded by the Dorothy Hodgkin Postgraduate Award, focusing on material imaginations and political theory within the Urban Laboratory at UCL. He has been a lecturer since August 2010.
