Dr. Lee Cronin

Biography

Lee Cronin is a professor of chemistry at the University of Glasgow, holding the Regius Chair in Chemistry. He leads the Cronin Group, focusing on complex chemical systems derived from non-biological building blocks to enhance the fundamental understanding of chemical systems. His research encompasses major themes such as Synthesis, Self Assembly, and Molecular Devices, aiming to create real-world benefits through advancements in fundamental science. Cronin's recent work has included the development of innovative synthetic and analytical techniques for studying complex inorganic chemical systems and the application of these methods in significant research areas including materials for solar fuel devices and potential drug delivery candidates.
