Dr. Leentje Vervoort

Biography

Leentje Vervoort is an Assistant Professor at the Behavioural Science Institute of Radboud University. Her research focuses on clinical developmental psychology, developmental psychopathology, emotion regulation, and reinforcement sensitivity theory. With a keen interest in how emotions affect behaviour and decision-making in various contexts, she explores the physiological responses associated with intense emotions such as anger. Her work aims to better understand the mechanisms that regulate emotional responses and how these can be effectively managed through various techniques. Vervoort is actively involved in teaching and mentoring students, guiding them through the complexities of developmental psychology.
