Dr. Lu joined the Asper School of Business in 2016. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from McGill University and a master’s degree in management from Tianjin University, China. Prior to joining Asper, Dr. Lu taught at the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University from 2011 to 2016 and at the School of Finance at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics from 2007 to 2011. His research interests focus on Asset Pricing with heterogeneous agents and frictions, Behavioral Finance, and International Finance. In terms of teaching, Dr. Lu is interested in Asset Pricing, Investments, Options, and Futures, as well as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals established in 2015, particularly those related to poverty reduction and environmental sustainability.
