Biography

Dr. Lei Si is a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at UNSW Medicine and a Senior Research Fellow at the George Institute for Global Health. His research focuses on health economics and the evaluation of chronic diseases, including osteoporosis, diabetes, and obesity. With a background that includes a Doctorate in Philosophy from the Menzies Institute of Medical Research, Dr. Si has contributed extensively to the field through his involvement with the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee and by securing numerous funding grants for innovative health interventions. He collaborates with many research bodies and has a track record of successfully conducting economic evaluations and studies aimed at improving health systems in China and Australia.
