Leigh Hanke is a physiatrist specializing in Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine, with a focus on non-operative treatment approaches for hip, spine, and peripheral joints. Leigh offers selective injections such as corticosteroid and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for pain relief, aiming to optimize patient functionality. Having received an undergraduate degree from Duke University and a master's degree in nutrition from Columbia University's Human Institute of Nutrition, Leigh's academic background is robust. Following medical education at Tulane University School of Medicine, Leigh completed a residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital and a fellowship in Interventional Spine Sports Medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Active in multiple professional organizations, Leigh's research interests include regenerative medicine, particularly in the application of PRP and stem cells for treating musculoskeletal conditions like tendinopathy and osteoarthritis.
