Len Kuffert is a Professor in the Department of History at the University of Manitoba. He completed his PhD in History at McMaster University in 2000, having previously earned a Master’s in History from the University of British Columbia in 1994 and a Bachelor’s Honours degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1992. Currently, Kuffert is working on a book that examines how hobbyist woodworking intersected with print and broadcast media, spanning late nineteenth century to the 2000s, addressing knowledge, gender, craft, and mental health. Kuffert has served as the Graduate Chair, overseeing the Joint MA programme with the University of Winnipeg, and is currently accepting graduate students for Master's and PhD programs.
