Leonard Stark is an Adjunct Professor at Penn Carey Law and serves as a United States District Judge. He graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Economics, as well as a Master of Arts in European History. Stark completed his D.Phil. in British Politics at Magdalen College, University of Oxford, and obtained his J.D. from Yale Law School. Following his clerkship, Stark worked as a litigation associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in Wilmington, Delaware. In 2010, he was nominated by President Obama as a District Judge for the District of Delaware, following Senate confirmation. Stark became the Chief Judge on July 1, 2014.
