Biography

Leonelo Bautista is an Associate Professor of Population Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He holds an MD, an MPH, and a DrPH. His primary research interests focus on the distribution of cardiovascular disease risk factors in developing countries, particularly the etiology of coronary heart disease and the role of chronic mild inflammation in the development of essential hypertension.
