Biography

Leonor Simas-Almeida is a Distinguished Senior Lecturer Emerita in the Department of Portuguese and Brazilian Studies at Brown University. She is currently preparing a comparative study of notable 19th-century novels and continues to contribute to discussions surrounding the intersection of emotions and literature.
