Biography

Liu Leqi is an AI researcher currently focusing on understanding and developing large language models. His overarching research goal is to build controllable machine intelligence that serves humanity safely. His work spans key areas, including investigating the foundations of state-of-the-art machine intelligence, with a particular focus on generative AI systems; designing principled frameworks for human-centered machine learning models that align with human preferences and behaviors; and evaluating the societal impacts of large-scale AI systems, especially large language models and recommender systems.
