Biography

Les Fagen has over 40 years of experience in law, particularly in the field of litigation. He spent years as a senior litigation partner at the law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, LLP, where he represented a wide variety of clients, including financial institutions, real estate companies, trusts and estates, entertainment entities, and individual clients in the art world, museums, and companies. Les is recognized as a leading attorney by Chambers USA, Chambers Global, International Who's Who of Business Lawyers, and Lawdragon500. He served as chair of Paul Weiss’s litigation department and was a member of the firm's management committee and chair of its partnership committee. After retiring from Paul Weiss, Les became a board member and consultant for various companies and foundations and serves as a director for the Brennan Center for Justice and the Kohlberg Foundation. He is also a member of the Board of Visitors at Columbia Law School and serves fiduciary trusts and estates. Les is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and, in addition to his role as an adjunct faculty member at Columbia Law School, he also holds the position of Adjunct Professor at Brooklyn Law School. Previously, he clerked for the late Judge Jack B. Weinstein in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
