Biography

Lesley Istead received a Bachelor of Mathematics, a Master's in Mathematics, and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo. With years of experience in the software industry, she has been a lecturer in the School of Information Technology at Carleton University since 2022. She is also interested in Virtual and Augmented Reality, as well as Game Design and Development. In 2022, she served as the Hybrid Conference Chair for Graphics Interface and was a grader for the CEMC Contest in 2021.
