Biography

Leslie Anne Campbell is an Associate Professor in the Department of Community Health and Epidemiology at Dalhousie University. She holds a PhD from Dalhousie University, an MSc from Dalhousie University, and a BScN from the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on health services research, health technology assessment, and patient-centered health outcomes in community mental health. A recognized expert in decision-making in resource-constrained healthcare environments, Dr. Campbell employs a range of quantitative and qualitative methods to inform policy development and improve health outcomes. She has contributed to several significant publications in high-impact journals, including studies on the uptake of virtual care in child and adolescent mental health services and the importance of investigating vulnerabilities in health service provision. Dr. Campbell serves as Chair of the Health Technology Expert Review Panel for Canada’s Drug Agency and is a member of the Canadian Chronic Disease Surveillance System Mental Illness Working Group.
