Dr. Leslie Robinson Bostom

Biography

Leslie Robinson-Bostom graduated from the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn, New York. She completed her dermatology residency at the department of dermatology at Brown Medical School and subsequently finished a dermatopathology fellowship at Roger Williams Medical Center. Dr. Robinson-Bostom holds a position on the staff of the department of dermatology at Brown Medical School, where she also started the division of dermatopathology. She is responsible for organizing the dermatopathology slide library and developing the teaching curriculum for dermatology pathology residents. Currently, she serves as the director of the Division of Dermatopathology and oversees the Dermatology Elective at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She is an active member of the Post Graduate Referral Committee, which advises medical students interested in dermatology, and is a member of the Medical School Admissions Committee. Her research interests encompass elastic tissue disorders, ichthyosis, panniculitis, and the cutaneous manifestations of renal disease. Dr. Robinson-Bostom has published numerous articles on dermatologic conditions and is involved with the Dermatology Foundation, which raises funds for dermatology-related research, and acts as the Rhode Island State Chair of the Leader's Society on the Foundation's Board of Trustees.
