Biography

Since 2021, Letizia Bianchi Meda has been a Full Professor of Administrative Law and Canonical Property Law at the Faculty of Theology of Lugano. She has been serving as the Deputy Administrative Director of the DiReCom Institute at the Faculty of Theology since 2017. Additionally, she has held a position as a tenured lecturer at the same faculty since 2015, where she is also responsible for the Gender Equality Service. Before her current roles, she worked as a scientific assistant at the DiReCom Institute and served as the recording secretary for the Fachkommission 'Church and State of Switzerland' under the Swiss Bishops' Conference. Her research areas include canonical property law, administrative canonical law, and sanctions within the Church.
