Biography

Lewis Ntaimo is a Professor and the Department Head of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Texas A&M University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Systems and Industrial Engineering from the University of Arizona in 2004, having also completed his M.S. and B.S. in Mining Engineering from the same institution in 2000 and 1998 respectively. He is recognized for his contributions to the field through numerous awards, including the Distinguished Educator Award from the Industrial Engineering Operations Management Society in 2022 and the INFORMS Outstanding Faculty Award in 2019. Ntaimo is a Fellow of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers and has served on several professional committees, reflecting his active engagement in the academic community.
