Lhawang Ugyel has extensive background experiences working in academia and public service. In addition to his role at ANU, he has taught at UNSW Canberra, Tallinn University of Technology as a Visiting Professor, and the University of Papua New Guinea as a Visiting Lecturer. Lhawang is currently examining Buddhist Oceanic aspects of Non-Western Public Administration and the implementation of well-being policies.
