Biography

Li-Anne Audet is an Assistant Professor at the Université de Montréal in the Faculty of Nursing. Her research focuses on optimizing the integration of Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) in primary and acute care settings in Canada. She employs a learning health system approach to examine and evaluate the effectiveness of existing care models involving APNs, study the links between APN integration and organizational, team, patient, and cost outcomes, and compare these strategies and outcomes with those from other international healthcare systems. Her work utilizes clinical-administrative data approaches, machine learning methods, and a co-creation process involving stakeholders, managers, APNs, other healthcare professionals, and patients to generate actionable data for effective and evidence-based integration of APNs within the Canadian healthcare system.
