Biography

Li Shean Toh is currently working at the Centre for Medicines Use and Safety (CMUS) at Monash University, Australia. Prior to this, she served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham in the UK and as a lecturer in medicines management at the University of Tasmania, Australia. Her expertise lies particularly in medicines management and she has developed pharmacist-led osteoporosis screening programs at the primary care level using frameworks from the UK Medical Research Council. Dr. Toh's interests also extend to health literacy, patient experiences, and interprofessional collaboration, with her latest research venturing into Astropharmacy, concentrating on medication safety and pharmacy services in space. She has received notable awards including the European Space Leader Award and has played a significant advisory role in the UK's Space Exploration programme.
