Biography

Liana Miuccio is a visual artist specializing in photography and videography that explores themes of identity, memory, and migration. Born to dual citizenship in Italy and the USA, she was raised in New York and currently resides in her birth city, Rome. Miuccio received her bachelor’s degree in Humanities from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and later earned a master's degree in Cinema, Video, and Television from the University of Roma Tre. Miuccio has showcased her work in solo exhibitions, such as at the Galleria D’Arte Moderna in Rome and the Ellis Island Immigration Museum in New York. Her photography has been featured in prominent publications like The New York Times, Financial Times, Vogue, and more. Her work is part of the permanent collection at the Museum of the City of New York.
