Dr. Liangbing Hu

Biography

Liangbing Hu is a professor at Yale Engineering specializing in electrical and computer engineering and materials science. His research focuses on the development of advanced nanotechnologies and sophisticated materials, particularly in the field of wood nanoscience. His work includes the engineering of novel wood materials such as super wood and transparent wood, along with various temperature processes through non-equilibrium synthesis. In addition to this, his expertise extends to high entropy catalysts and solid-state batteries. Liangbing has received numerous awards including the MRS Medal and the American Chemical Society Anselme Payen Award. He is actively involved in pushing the boundaries of materials science and has contributed significantly to the understanding of inorganic and organic hybrid materials for energy applications.
