Lianmei Jiang is currently an Honorary Research Fellow at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Nanoscale BioPhotonics (CNBP) at Macquarie University. She received her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from École Normale Supérieure de Paris in 2012, focusing on microfluidic-based biosensors for real-time monitoring of cell behavior. Before relocating to Sydney in 2015, Dr. Jiang was a joint industry-academic researcher at bioMérieux and ESPCI ParisTech in France, where she developed droplet-based microfluidic systems for microbial diagnostics. Her expertise includes the design, fabrication, and implementation of microfluidic devices for single-cell analysis, and her current research interests involve single-cell droplet microfluidics, microdroplet-based functionalization of nanoparticles, and miniaturized sensing devices for biomarker detection.
