Biography

Lianne Aarntzen works as an assistant professor in the Department of Social, Health, and Organizational Psychology at Utrecht University. Her main research goal is to shed light on how men's and women's experiences and choices are shaped by social, educational, and organizational contexts. Currently, she is involved in living labs that investigate economic resilience among Dutch women and improvements in their situations. Additionally, her research explores the experiences of (non-prototypical) newcomers as they adjust to new organizations. Lianne has also initiated a research project on how gender stereotypes influence parents' work-family guilt and their work-family choices.
