Dr. Licheng Liu

Biography

Licheng Liu received a Ph.D. in Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2024. He subsequently held a postdoctoral position at the Department of Political Science at Stanford University. His research primarily focuses on Political Methodology and International Political Economy, with a particular interest in developing new methods for causal inference using longitudinal network data and employing both frequentist and Bayesian approaches. He applies these methods to empirical studies in areas such as trade politics and comparative political behavior. His work has been published in prominent journals including the American Journal of Political Science and Political Analysis.
