Biography

Lidia Schapira is a medical oncologist with clinical expertise in the treatment of breast cancer and the inaugural Director of Stanford's Cancer Survivorship Program. She has developed a thriving research and clinical program focused on optimizing health outcomes for people living with cancer. She has published numerous manuscripts and lectured nationally and internationally on issues related to cancer survivorship, and has served as an Associate Editor for the narrative section of Art in Oncology in the Journal of Clinical Oncology from 2013 to 2023.
