Lilia Schürcks completed her Ph.D. in General Linguistics at the Research School of Behavioral and Cognitive Neurosciences at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Her publications primarily explore topics related to identity, discourse, and ethnic issues, notably the identities of the Pomaks in the Balkan region. Lilia is also an author, editor, and reviewer for various publishers, including Peter Lang, Mouton de Gruyter, and Cambridge University Press; one of her recent co-edited publications is "Minimalism Radicalizing Interfaces" (2014).
