Biography

Liliana Galindo is an Assistant Professor affiliated with the Cambridge Psychedelic Research Group at the University of Cambridge. Over the past decade, her research has focused on the study and integration of altered states of mind, particularly through psychedelic research and psychoactive substances. She has a keen interest in understanding the psychoactive effects of these substances, their therapeutic applications, and their implications for the development of psychopathology. Dr. Galindo leads local clinical trials in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy, working within a multidisciplinary team involving the Cambridge University Hospitals and researchers from the University of Cambridge. Additionally, she co-leads the Psychosis Risk Outcomes NETwork (ProNET), a global initiative spearheaded by Yale University aimed at enhancing prevention and treatment for clinical high-risk psychosis. Dr. Galindo also co-facilitates Conversations with Experts by Experience (CEbE) sessions, which include individuals with lived experiences of mental health challenges alongside researchers and PhD students dedicated to the study of mental health conditions.
