Biography

Lily Turaski is a lecturer at Georgia Tech's School of Materials Science and Engineering since Fall 2023. She is an enthusiastic educator with experience in research-based instructional methods, and serves as the course coordinator for MSE 2001: Principles and Applications of Engineering Materials, overseeing the curriculum of one of the School of Materials Science and Engineering’s largest service classes. Lily seeks to inspire her students to become aware of the ways they can use materials science in their everyday lives. Her research interests lie at the intersection of engineering education and materials science engineering. Before joining the faculty at Georgia Tech, Lily completed her graduate studies at Stanford University, where she received her Master of Science in Materials Science Engineering. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science Engineering from Georgia Tech.
