Dr. Lin Nan

Biography

Professor Lin Nan is the Brock Family Chair Professor and Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs at the Daniels School of Business, Purdue University. She is recognized as one of the top analytical authors in accounting research, consistently ranking in the top ten over several years in various reports by Brigham Young University. Her expertise encompasses areas such as Accounting, Compensation, Corporate Governance, and Performance Management. Professor Nan has contributed to numerous prestigious journals, including the Accounting Review and Journal of Accounting Research, and has received significant accolades, such as the Jay N. Ross Young Faculty Scholar Award. With a distinguished career that includes teaching at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University, she has established a reputation as an exceptional instructor in both residential and online master’s and undergraduate programs. Professor Nan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Tianjin University, a Master’s degree in Economics from West Virginia University, and a PhD in Accounting from the University of Florida.
