Dr. Lin Shao

Biography

Lin Shao is a Professor in the Nuclear Engineering Department at Texas A&M University, where he also serves as the Associate Dean for Research in the College of Engineering and as the Associate Agency Director of the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Houston, awarded in 2001, and a B.S. in Nuclear Physics Technology from Peking University in 1997. His research interests encompass materials science, nanotechnology, radiation effects, nuclear electronic materials, and ion beam analysis, reflecting a commitment to advancing knowledge and technology in these critical areas. His work has contributed significantly to the field, resulting in numerous publications and recognitions. He is a Senior Faculty Fellow at the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station, highlighting his leadership and influence in engineering research.
