Biography

Lin Zhong is the Joseph C. Tsai Professor of Computer Science at Yale University, where he leads the Efficient Computing Lab. His research focuses on making computing, communication, and interfacing more efficient and effective. He has received multiple awards for his work, including the NSF CAREER Award, the Duncan Award from Rice University, and the RockStar Award in 2014. Lin has also been recognized for his contributions to the field with the Test of Time Award in 2022 and several paper awards from prestigious conferences such as ACM MobileHCI, IEEE PerCom, ACM MobiSys, and ACM ASPLOS. He obtained his Ph.D. from Princeton University and holds both an M.S. and B.S. from Tsinghua University.
