Biography

Lina Herz is a Junior Professor of German Literature of the Late Middle Ages and Early Modern Period at Hamburg University. Her research focuses on literature from these periods, specifically the 'Chanson de geste' and early German prose, the work of Konrad of Würzburg, materiality and mediality questions, and digital editorial philology. She is also involved in cultural and literary transfer processes and the history of transmission and reception, particularly within collection contexts.
