Biography

Lina Zhou is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Victoria, specializing in structural engineering and timber structures. She obtained her PhD from the University of New Brunswick, having previously earned both her BS and MS from Tongji University. Her research focuses on innovative wood structural systems, including connections, hybrid buildings, and the seismic performance of timber structures. She has authored and co-authored several publications in leading engineering journals.
