Dr. Lincoln Wood

Biography

Professor Lincoln Wood specializes in supply chain management, with published work in leading journals such as Transportation Research Part B, Journal of Cleaner Production, International Journal of Operations & Production Management, International Journal of Project Management, Applied Economics, and Service Industries Journal. He has extensive experience in research connected to business and has collaborated closely with industry associations, including the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). His expertise has led to invitations to present at international, industry-focused conferences and editorial roles on various international journals concerning supply chain management. Prior to joining the University of Otago in 2017, he was a Senior Lecturer at the Graduate School of Management at the University of Auckland and had previous roles at Auckland University of Technology and Curtin University in Western Australia. Lincoln teaches courses such as BSNS111 Business Society and has a broad research focus on logistics relationships, dynamics, and the use of technology with logistics service providers, particularly in 3PLs. He is also a member of the Food Waste Innovation research theme at the University of Otago, which aims to measure food waste, develop reduction strategies, and employ innovative technology to influence producer and consumer behavior.
