Biography

Linda Ng Boyle is a professor and faculty member at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, where she serves as the Vice Dean of Research. With extensive experience in research strategy and operations, she collaborates closely with faculty, department chairs, center directors, and industry partners to advance Tandon's research initiatives and fulfill its strategic vision. Before joining NYU Tandon, she was a professor and chair of the Industrial Systems Engineering program at the University of Washington, where she held a joint appointment in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Additionally, she served as an associate professor at the University of Iowa and was a senior researcher at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Volpe Center. An NSF CAREER Award laureate, Linda is actively involved in the Transportation Research Board and holds fellowships in the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers and the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society. Her research interests include Driving Behavior, Crash Countermeasures, Crash Safety Analysis, and Statistical Modeling.
