Professor Dr. Linda Corkery

Biography

Linda Corkery is an Emeritus Professor with extensive expertise in landscape architecture and urban planning. Her research interests focus on the relationships between people and places, specifically in urban parks and open space planning and design. She has contributed significantly to environmental education and green infrastructure, particularly regarding the integration of landscape architecture in built environments. Corkery has supervised numerous PhD students, guiding their research in areas such as integrated landscapes and the legacy of Olympic cities. In addition to her academic pursuits, she has also been actively involved in various professional organizations, including the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects and the American Society of Landscape Architects.
