Biography

Linda Halldner Henriksson is an adjunct associate professor specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry at Umeå University. Her research focuses on neurodevelopmental disorders and pediatric psychopharmacology with a special emphasis on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She has extensive experience as a senior consultant in child and adolescent psychiatry, particularly in clinical services for neurodevelopmental disorders. She completed her PhD in Pharmacology at Karolinska Institutet in 2003, followed by post-doctoral work in the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the same institution. As a principal investigator, she conducts large observational studies to identify predictors of treatment outcomes for children undergoing pharmacological treatment for ADHD. Her research aims to improve understanding of factors influencing diagnosis and treatment effectiveness in various patient categories. Additionally, she collaborates with other researchers, including co-principal investigator Maria Råstam from Lund University, on follow-up studies of twins screened for neurodevelopmental issues to understand predictors of mental health service contact.
