Biography

Linda E. Hyman holds the position of Burroughs Wellcome Director of Education at the Marine Biological Laboratory, and she serves as Associate Provost in the Division of Graduate Medical Sciences at Boston University. She earned her PhD and MS from Brandeis University and her BS from Stony Brook University. Before her current role, Dr. Hyman was Vice Provost for Health Science at Montana State University and directed the WWAMI Medical Education Program. Her research interests include genetics and molecular biology, particularly in relation to developmental biology and virology.
